We have fitted thousands of home chargers and understand that every home is different. That is why we make sure our installers have all the information they need to connect your charger to your property.

our Mobilize Home Chargers
All home charger installations are carried out by our OZEV-certified installer. This means that all works are conducted in accordance with UK regulations and are carried out safely. We will also inform you of any additional works and costs that may be required by your energy supplier or distribution network operator, before you commit to the installation. We will liaise with them to request any approvals prior to scheduling your installation.
Once the Mobilize Home Charger has been commissioned, our engineer will ensure you are set up and ready to go before they leave.
A standard home installation is based on single-phase electrics and includes:
- Installation of the charge point to the wall or other permanent structure
- Surface-mounted external cable clipped direct to the wall surface
- The fitting and testing of electrical connections, protections, and equipment as required
- Make good all drilling and penetrations to walls
- Ensure connectivity for Smart functionality on the unit
- Customer demonstration of unit, controls and mobile application
- Transport of unit from storage to customer property along with all required installation materials
- Up to 15 metres of cable, run and neatly clipped to the wall between the electricity supply meter or distribution board and the charging point
- Compliant to latest wiring regulations
- Plastic conduit/trunking to conceal interior wiring
- An electrical certificate will be issued to the Customer within 1 week of the installation following an internal checking and auditing process
Any additional work which falls outside of a standard installation will be subject to additional costs.
Our home chargers are compatible with all makes of electric vehicles. They can also be scheduled to work with smart electricity tariffs so you can benefit from cheaper off peak electricity.
